Who May, and Who May Not, Enter

What will be excluded from this city? BR-ASI9 491.1

“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie.” Revelation 21:27. BR-ASI9 491.2

Who will be permitted to enter it? BR-ASI9 491.3

“Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:14. BR-ASI9 491.4

Note.—The late English and American revisions render this, “Blessed are they that wash their robes,” etc. The result is the same, for those who wash their robes cease to sin, and hence do God’s commandments. BR-ASI9 491.5

When this city becomes the metropolis of the new earth, what will be the condition of God’s people? BR-ASI9 491.6
