Christ the Saviour

How was He manifested on earth as a Saviour? BR-ASI9 37.5

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11. BR-ASI9 37.6

How was Christ begotten in the flesh? BR-ASI9 37.7

“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35. BR-ASI9 37.8

Why was it necessary that He should be born thus, and partake of human nature? BR-ASI9 37.9

“Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.” Hebrews 2:17. BR-ASI9 37.10

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:14, 15. BR-ASI9 37.12
