The Standard for All

How many are concerned in the judgment? BR-ASI9 175.4

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” 2 Corinthians 5:10. BR-ASI9 175.5

What will be the standard in the judgment? BR-ASI9 175.6

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For He that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.” James 2:10-12. BR-ASI9 175.7

In view of the judgment, what exhortation is given? BR-ASI9 175.8

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14. BR-ASI9 175.9

Note.—A comparison of Revelation 14:7 with Ecclesiastes 12:13, suggests that the way to give glory to God is to keep His commandments, and that in the judgment-hour message, the duty of keeping the commandments would be emphasized. This is plainly shown in the description given of the people who are gathered out of every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. Of this people it is said, “Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12. BR-ASI9 175.10
