Moses and the children of Israel were given a tangible depiction of Christ’s work of redemption when they were instructed to build a tabernacle in the wilderness. Each compartment had special significance to the plan of salvation. The Bible says that this earthly sanctuary was a copy of the heavenly sanctuary.
