Temperance -- Study Guide

Highlights

Intemperance is not limited to the twin evils of alcohol and tobacco. Often the trend toward intemperance is shown by other narcotics, stimulants, and drugs used as beverages, as medicines, or simply for their effect. The principle stated in Temperance is that anything contributing to the loss of control, even in the minutest form, is intemperance; and each person has the need of temperance (self-control) provided by Christ for real life--physical, mental, social, and spiritual.
