The Cross

Now the reproach of Christ is the cross. Thus we are again brought face to face with the fact that the seed of Abraham—the true Israel—are those who are Christ’s through faith in His blood. We also learn from the fact that Moses suffered the reproach of Christ, that the cross of Christ was as real and present a thing in the days when Moses was prince of Egypt, as it is to-day. This is a thing of no small importance to be remembered. EVCO 164.3
