Abraham Himself of Gentile Origin

That God made no difference between Jews and Gentiles is seen in the fact that Abraham, the head of the Jewish race, was himself a Gentile, and received the assurance of acceptance with God while he was yet uncircumcised, “that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also.” 1 God was always as ready to accept people from among the heathen as He was when He called Abraham out from among them.
