2. — THE RESURRECTION A NECESSITY

Another point to be noted in considering the subject of the resurrection, is that the resurrection is absolutely necessary to any future existence. The reader is requested to turn to the preceding chapter on the Condition of Man in Death, and mark that all the arguments there presented and all the scriptures there referred to are so many proofs showing the condition of the dead to be such that they can have no further existence, unless they are raised from that condition. It is utterly futile to try to reconcile the doctrine of the immortality of the soul with that of the resurrection of the dead, as will still further appear in the following pages. HHMLD 224.1
