The Time is Fulfilled
Mark, in recording the same occurrence, says, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” 13 The time predicted for the Anointed to appear had come. The anointing by the Holy Ghost had taken place at his baptism, and he was now entering upon his ministry, just in the time and manner predicted by the holy prophets of old. GSAM 62.2
