Minutes of Educational Council Held February 9, 1908

Present: Elder Reaser, Professor Ballenger, Professor Owen, Professor Lucas, Elder Burden, Doctor Abbott, Doctor White, Mrs. Burden, Miss Taylor, Geo. M. Price, and Brother Nelson. LLM 348.6

It was moved, seconded, and carried that Elder Burden take the chair. LLM 349.1

Elder Burden outlined some of the needs of Loma Linda, and Professor Lucas stated that Fernando was doing thirteenth grade work, but intended to do nothing in advance. LLM 349.3

After some discussion in general, it was moved by Elder Reaser and seconded by Doctor White that a Subcommittee consisting of Lucas, Owen, Abbott, Burden, Price and Ballenger be appointed to arrange for cooperation between Loma Linda and Fernando in respect to curriculum, together with the financial arrangements relating to tuition and support of teachers.
