Loma Linda Messages

246/337

Passed by the Southern California Conference, May, 1909.

First, Whereas there is a constantly increasing demand for missionaries who are qualified to minister to the people in both medical and evangelistic lines, and in view of the fact that the Testimonies have clearly indicated that a special work is to be done at Loma Linda in fitting up Gospel Medical Missionary Evangelists; therefore, we ask the General Conference to recognize this Loma Linda College of Evangelists, as in a sphere set forth in the Testimonies, by treating it as a sister institution to the Missionary Seminary at Washington, D. C. LLM 409.3

Second, That our delegation be appointed a committee to confer with the Medical Board of the General Conference as to curriculum, equipment, and plans for the further development of the school. LLM 409.4

(This was omitted from the last Conference Committee Meeting's report. It should have been included under item concerning Loma Linda and the Gen. Conf.) LLM 410.1
