1. That it is the sense of this meeting that the International Religious Liberty Association ought to be organized so that it may be an effective board. GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.27
2. That the Association accept the proposal of the Review and Herald to turn over the Religious Liberty Library to the International Religious Liberty Association, and that the Library be made the organ of said Association. GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.28
3. That the headquarters of the International Religious Liberty Association be transferred from New York City to Chicago. GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.29
4. That the Association own and control the American Sentinel as its official organ, provided satisfactory arrangements can be made with the Pacific Press Publishing Company; and that the question of securing the transfer be referred to the General Conference Committee. 5. That the General Conference Committee negotiate with the Pacific Press Publishing Company for the transfer of the copyright of the book, “American State Papers,” to the International Religious Liberty Association. GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.31
6. That it is the sense of this Conference that the money that different associations have taken from the International Religious Liberty Association, be restored to the said Association. GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.32
7. That Article II of the constitution be amended to read as follows: “The object of this Association shall be the promulgation of the principles of liberty—Christian and constitutional.” GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.33
8. That Article IV, Section 1, be amended as follows: “The officers of this Association shall be a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and an Executive Committee of nine.” GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.34
9. That Article V, Section 1, be amended by substituting the word “assisting” for the words “defense of.” GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.35

11. That the article “the” be substituted for the adjective “all” in No. 5. GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.37
12. That the word “Recording” in No. 6, and the words, “The Corresponding Secretary” in No. 7 be stricken out, and the two By-laws combined in one, joined by the conjunction “and.” GCB January 1, 1899, page 4.38
13. That No. 8 be amended by substituting the words “aiding those,” in place of the words, “the defense of any members of the society.” GCB January 1, 1899, page 5.1
